Writing Homework Tutorial – Year 4
Core Program
This optional program provides 30 minutes per week of additional instruction and assistance in writing. The course is designed to support students in completing their weekly writing assignment from the Fastrain Extended Program. This course is ideal for families who are time poor as the students have an opportunity to commence and even complete their writing homework during the tutorial.

Course Goals
- Provide support for development of confidence in writing
- Provide an opportunity for students to complete their weekly writing task before leaving the campus
- Provide support in interpreting writing tasks and planning responses
Course Structure
- Available as an optional Core Program in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
- 30 minute lessons per week, during term
