Exam Preparation Course
Designed to assist Year 5 students to reach their full potential in preparing for Private Schools & Select Entry Accelerated Learning (SEAL) Schools placement tests in Victoria.
Our Scholarship and SEAL Exam Preparation (SSEP) course covers all major exam formats i.e. ACER, Edutest, Academic Assessment Services (AAS). Students are provided 4 full length tests, completed under examination conditions.
Course Goals
- Provide a full range of academic experiences essential for success in the scholarship and SEAL Placement Test
- Develop writing skills
- Develop reading and comprehension skills for exam preparation
- Develop verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning skills
- Develop advanced literal and inferential comprehensions skills
- Develop problem solving skills
- Develop competency and creativity in writing across a range of text types
- Develop an advanced vocabulary, grammar, usage and punctuation skills
- Develop exam techniques and exam confidence
Course Structure
- 3 hours lessons per week over 4 terms
- 120 hours of intensive coaching
- 4 full length test papers with over 1,900 questions tested
- Small class group based
- Experienced educators
- Students attend lessons once a week at their allocated time schedule.
